Used to use Cinnamon, now I am stuck on MATE.
I figured I'd try out Linux mint with MATE desktop, and now I am stuck on it. I love it and will install and use it for the rest of it's existance.

Think of Windows 10 as Hotel California for computers.

A lot of people seem to relly like the Gnome 2x style and how they can customize it exactly how they want it.

Same with my girlfriend. I dual booted her XP PC with Mate and she loves it. She does not care that it is Linux, just that the PC runs so much faster than ever. All the Icons work just fine. She picked up Firefox with no problem. All she wants is to pay a couple bills on line, email.

I enjoy the way you can hide the task bay at the bottom. I also enjoy it's speed and smoothness on my computer. Oh, by the way, the specs are:Goz wrote:So what about it do you enjoy the most?Knuckl3head wrote:I figured I'd try out Linux mint with MATE desktop, and now I am stuck on it.
