New in Linux Mint

Postby Manuel Barros » Sat Nov 17, 2012 12:49 pm

Hello everybody.
I am an old man (65), already retired, who have discovered Linux Mint and find it fabulous.
I am completely new on Linux and I feel very well adapted to the 64bit Maya, descovering its details with passion.
Sorry, fellows, for not writting too much, but I just would like to add that I am very glad with the sensation of freedom.
Best regards.

Ola welcome to the mint family forums

The idea that Bill Gates has appeared like a knight in shining armour to lead all customers out of a mire of technological chaos neatly ignores the fact that it was he who, by peddling second-rate technology, led them into it in the first place.

Hello fellows,
Just a few words to say that almost five months have already passed and I go on thinking that my option for Linux Mint was the best decision I have taken.
Regards.
Manuel
