Loss of HDMI sound

Postby woccatozmmm » Wed Nov 28, 2012 7:02 pm

We're running Mint 13 Maya on a Zotac ZBox Nano AD12 connected to a TV by HDMI cable. It works unless you turn the TV off or switch source on the TV while the computer is running. When you turn the TV back on or flick back to HMDI connection as a source, there is no sound. A reboot sorts it out. Any thoughts?

I can add this output from inxi -fx

I'm going to post this in the newbies section as I'm beginning to suspect that it's a really simple solution but as we're not familiar with Linux, we don't know where to look.
