Hi,
Is it possible to enable the default look of Mate in Mint somehow?. I mean like the standard gnome2 look.
First time I'm using Mint and I really like it so far. Although I'm getting used to the mint launcher (is it called that?) I still miss the default gnome2 look.

Re: Mate default look in Mint?
I'm not following what you mean. MATE was developed for Mint so the Mint look is the default look. If you mean changing the desktop to resemble say Ubuntu 10.04 with a top panel with Applications,Places,System then you can easliy change the desktop to resemble that look.
Re: Mate default look in Mint?
Do you mean the default gnome2 configuration with 2 panels and the "Applications - Places - System" menu? Yes, you can configure your desktop to "look" that way.
Just right-click the panel and add a new one. By right klicking, you can also add new applets.
