New on Mint - old on Linux

Hi, I'm trying out Mint as a replacement for Ubuntu. I believe that Mint is "Ubuntu as it should be" (but not is, thanks to Mr. Shuttleworth).

I'll be in the tech groups asking for help to tweak system in my direction.
