Almost all android devices run on ARM, while Linux Mint only runs on--and is compiled for--x86 and x86_64. Different processor architectures like ARM are not supported by Linux Mint, so you won't be able to run Linux Mint on it. This has been discussed before, for example here: viewtopic.php?t=73000&f=163. Ubuntu supports ARM in addition to x86 and x86_64, hence you can run Ubuntu on some tablet devices like shared here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ARM/TabletList.
Just a thought. I'm familiar with ARM, x86, etc -- perhaps not an expert with all the ins-and-outs, but I can do it. Was just hoping perhaps somebody made a mint-like OS for an ARM device as if I had to choose between Mint or Ubuntu, I'd take Mint.
