Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, I wasn't sure where to post it.
I have a friend who was just trying to download Linux Mint, and was frustrated with all the options.
Is there any way that the download page could have more direct thumbnails? The ones on the mate and cinnamon website are nice, but they take you off the linuxmint.com website, and are subject to their redesign.
Since the download page has a mate picture, it seems like mate is recommended. Would it make sense to have a "recommended download" (mate, codecs, dvd)? It goes against everything linux, I suppose.
