That looks really nice! I've played around with Xfce a lot, but I don't think I've ever gotten something as nice as that (I could never quite work out the transparencies). The panel looks kind of like some of the transparent Gnome Shell themes (which I really like) and the menu looks Manjaro-ish. What theme is that?

I'm back to Linux Mint Nadia Cinnamon, after a bit of sillyness with Xubuntu. I finally preffer Cinnamon to XFCE, it's better and a bit lightweight too
Now I reinstalled Mint, the 64 bit version, and it's awesome, of course. I got the wallpaper here. The cat is like Mint, which arrives again to me, inside a box

Yep keep changing trying to find the right mix for me.
Desktop Dual LCD Display Dec. 28th by Orbmiser, on Flickr
One was to add Wallch in the repo's. Nice Gui installed in Accessories.
Tho would love an applet or tray access for changing settings.
Allows to set for autostart and such.
Wallch is a General purpose Wallpaper Changer for the
GNOME desktop which can change the desktop background
image after an adjustable time. The aim of Wallch is
to make it easier for you to keep your desktop "fresh"
and new!
Some random features:
- Live Earth Wallpaper
- Picture Of The Day
- Folder Monitoring
- Unity integration
- Statistics
- Features JPG, PNG, GIF and BMP support
- Random image changing
- Desktop/Sound notification
- History logging
- Taking Screenshot
- Taking Webcam Image

Thanks but the real kudo's goes to the developers of Themes,Wallpapers,Icon makers,etc..mmesantos1 wrote:Very nice work Orbmiser! Desktop looks great.
And the Mint Team making such a great distro!
Only thing missing would to allow different wallpaper on dual setups!
That would be great for even more integrated fine tuning of dual display setups.

Outstanding Work Mark! Browsing your Deviantart library of Themes.
You Do Outstanding integrated Desktops and Top Notch Artistic vision in them.
Love your latest Slaves & Sands in Time. But hate KDE but you make it look polished.
Theme idea based from movie? "Prince of Persia The Sands of Time"?

Thank you very much Orbmiser for the kind comments. Actually the name of this setup is a play on words I combined the names of the Wallpaper which is Sands and the Plasma theme which is called Slave. The in time part I just added because it sounded like it fit the name.

Re: Desktop Screenshots Thread - December 2012
mmesantos1, may I present to you a challenge?
Notice how everyone does the same sort of clean, simple, monochrome setup again and again? (not just you but all the big deviantart customizers).
Challenge: a colorful desktop that looks good
It's a bit like photography - in black and white a photo of a bottle on the ground outside a supermarket looks artistic, switch to colours and it's suddenly more difficult.
If anyone can do it it's you!
