Different icons and wallpapers in each workspace

Postby RonC » Sat Dec 29, 2012 8:33 am

This post probably belongs with one of the various Linux Mint editions, but I don't know which one has the right desktop environment to handle this feature (as described in the Subject and seen in the following video link).

:!: Apparently this can be done with Ubuntu and (I think) running Gnome. But, I'd rather stay with Mint -- if possible. What's the best way of doing it in Linux Mint, and using which edition?

Elrindell has posted about this kind of desktop on both Ubuntu forums and Linux Questions.

If there is already a thread on this kind of desktop in one of the Mint-edition forums, a link to wherever it is would be most appreciated! Unfortunately, a forum search didn't show any hits.

:?: Can anyone point me in the right direction?
LinuxMint 17.3 Rosa / KDE (32-bit), and
Linuxmint 18.0 Sarah /KDE (32-bit)
