Finding hplip

Post by allen76693 » Sun Jan 06, 2013 7:50 am

Endeavoring to get 14 to recognize my hp and synaptic indicates its there installed, but sadly I cannot find "find" no "hplip"
Probably has something to do with being 80
Please advise and thanks
EDIT:
I have followed the suggestions and my HP C4240 continues to not recognize my printer in Mint 14. I read something about using
my IP address which I failed to understand, but if this is possible explain please or any other suggestions
