have the repositories changed for mint13 (Mate)?

Postby 5littlejoe5 » Tue Jan 08, 2013 3:51 pm

I'm quite happy with mint13 (Maya)(Mate), but recently (for this last month at least) I'm nopt able to update therepositories. There are a lot of errors related to installing any program, because the dependencies can't be found. I've been working with this for awhile, andhave myself a little confused. I *think* that this ios the sources.list that came as default, and has been giving me trouble.

deb http://packages.linuxmint.com/ maya main upstream import
deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ maya main restricted universe multiverse
deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ maya-updates main restricted universe multiverse
deb http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ maya-security main restricted universe multiverse
deb http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu/ maya partner
deb http://packages.medibuntu.org/ maya free non-free

# deb http://archive.getdeb.net/ubuntu precise-getdeb apps
# deb http://archive.getdeb.net/ubuntu precise-getdeb games

I found the following on one of the forums as an update, but it looks like it involves an upgrade to mint 14, which I don't want. Will the following list serve for mint 13 as well? If not, where can I find an updated list for m iont13, or what whould I change in the forgoing list?

Unfortunately this has been a problem for a few releases (I think) - a few users have had the installer overwrite all of the repos with the mint release name. Change "maya" in all of the entries except the first one to "precise" - these are all repos for Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, which Mint 13 is based off of.
