Hi,
I have a question about the printer driver management in Cinnamon. Whenever I try to install a printer (i.e. Brother MFC-7440N), it seems that the system automatically chooses a driver for the printer to be used. For whenever I want to use a specific driver, I have to boot into LXDE just to change it
Is there some sort of external print manager I can use or a tweak I can get for this?
Thanks for the help~!

Re: Printer Driver/Printer Settings
Hi
usually, CUPS is installed.
Access to the printer manager is done via your Web browser.
So point your browser to http://localhost:631/
If you want to change something, you need to switch to the Administration tab.
I don't have a printer connected right now, so I can't show
how i works.
But i know that i have modified some printer settings at work.
Yes, I use Linux Mint 13 Cinnamon at work !
HTH,
Norbert.

Thanks, I should be able to use this in the time being... i.e. reinstallation!
