No Wifi at all

Post by gordilocks »

I tried to install Mint 14 cinamon on my laptop [it's an Acer V3-571] & it's not giving me any wifi connections at all. It doesn't even recognise my house's network. Does anyone have any idea how to fix it?

ok do you know what wireless card is in your machine and can you temporarily hook up to the net with an Ethernet cable?

it's not going to do us much good unless you'll be able to get a hardwire connection. because the drivers you need will have to be installed from the net.
sorry.
