Not able to connect to my Wifi network

Postby shabbir_raja » Sun Feb 17, 2013 1:18 pm

I've recently installed Linux mint mate 13 on Dell Latitude E5400 laptop which has a built in Wifi network controller shown below.
0c:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4312 802.11b/g LP-PHY (rev 01)
Everytime I enable the Wifi on my Laptop on Windows, it used to lit the Wifi light on my Laptop, but on Mint it never does. Also cant search any network. Have already entered the SSID details on Network portion in Mint's control centre.
Please help. Let me know if you need more info.

Did you try additional drivers option?

See in Preferences>Additional drivers and install the driver for BCM4322 wireless driver.

You need a cable network active.
