Can someone suggest how to turn on airplane mode from command line instead of using the GUI?
Also can someone list what all are turned off by enabling airplane mode?

Re: Mint: equivalent command line call for airplane mode
Airplane mode usually means turning off all radios (WiFi, Bluetooth, mobile data)
If this is a laptop, it probably has a hardware toggle to turn everything off. Sometimes it's a dedicated button that looks like a radio antenna. And sometimes it's a F1 - F12 button with a second row of blue text that doubles as a hardware function key.
This doesn't answer your question about a command line solution, but it may help.

Thanks for your answer.
Is this different from 'ifconfig <waninterface> down'? I have a vague memory if you turn off this way, it comes back after a while.
That is why I am interested to do this properly my turning on airplane mode from command line.
