I need a high contrast skin

I have only 40% vision. The skins that are offered in Mint Mate by the Appearance options are not really suitable for my needs. I use now the 'Industrial' option but evry window and the Start menu is faint writing or all grey. See the start: ( http://img842.imageshack.us/img842/2650 ... 281151.png)

and this window where I see nothing but grey ( http://img826.imageshack.us/img826/9232 ... 281209.png). I have tried all skin options that are offered, but none are any good.

In Zorin, which is the other distro I am using, there are fewer options but two are high contrast and one is even high contrast inverted which is ver good to read. See example: (http://img542.imageshack.us/img542/2328 ... 281144.png). This did not come out too crisp in Image Shack, but in reality it is very crisp.

Can you recommend a way how I can get a suitable skin in Mint Mate.

I've had a look and hopefully have an easy solution for you. From the Software Manager install the package mate-themes (or run the command "apt install mate-themes"). This install a bunch of new themes in Control Center > Appearance. Amongst those being "High Contract" and "High Contract Inverse". The latter one looks similar to what you are looking for.
