Slight theme differences between lmde and main version?

Postby 0xnak » Tue Mar 05, 2013 3:01 am

I noticed that there seem to be some slight differences in the mint-x theme between the main mint version and lmde. Namely, in nemo, the left panel (that shows Bookmarks, Computer, Network) is quite dark, nearly black in the main version, but in lmde it is light gray. Anyone know why this is?

Well, there were some changes since version 1.0.8 (the one in LMDE). Here's the commit history and the changelog.

Interesting. Why is lmde using such an old version of the theme?

because lmde's mint-x is gtk3.4 compatible and nadia's is gtk3.6 (gtk3.6 is not yet in debian testing so mint-x can't be update)
