techtard working in IT

Postby Maikl » Mon Mar 04, 2013 5:37 pm

Hello everyone :) ,

My name is Michael, I'm a 40 year-old German and I work at a service desk doing IT support.
Which is precarious sometimes because I'm a bit of a dummy. We do 1st level support though, so it's no rocket science either.
But what you can you do? Beggars cant be choosers...

Last Saturday I installed Mint Cinnamon and I like it very much, the uncluttered-ness of it.
It's only my 3rd OS ever, after Ubuntu and Win Vista.
I bought my first machine in 2007.

I've joined up here because I've got a few things that I'd like to clarify, trifles but still...Will start right off with the first one, in the newby section.
