Installer option to make seperate home partition.

Postby HeWhoWas » Wed Apr 10, 2013 7:27 am

Hey guys,

I was thinking that it might be nice to offer the option of a system/home partition setup in the installer. This is pretty robust when it comes to system screw ups - you can always reinstall the system and have your home folder pick up from where it left off. Any merit? A companion option of "Use existing home and reinstall system" would be great as well.

Agreed HeWhoWas!

I wish I'd done that for my install, but was leery of doing it manually. A built in option would be terrific.
