Setting up wireless connection?

Post by Macmeister »

I have an Apple Airport Extreme router, and am trying to get my Dell (running 32-bit Mint 14) to connect wirelessly. The Dell does not have an internal wireless card. I'm attempting to get a Netgear N600 wireless USB adaptor to work, but it doesn't seem to be seen my Mint at all. Any ideas how I might get this working?

For anyone else struggling with this, I got an Edimax EW-7811Un wireless USB adaptor, and it worked right out of the box. Plug and play! I got it from TigerDirect for $17.
