LinuxMint Stickers !!

Hi,

I would like to attach on my laptop some good-looking sticker confirming my belonging to Mint and propagating it!

Somebody knows how to get it? Official shop is closed

Maybe if you order Mint CD you'll get it but paying 10$ for sticker would confirm rather my impairment....

People in the community have tried this. I know somebody was selling them pretty cheap though cafe express, but I think they closed down their store. Also from what I remember I think the stickers didn't last very long especial if its on an area that gets rubbed alot.
The other issue that came about is that in order to get quality stickers of any kind takes an initial layout of cash that unfortunately, unless everybody buys them, the person who laid out the cash is left footing the bill.

I recommended making a couple by hand, but when I priced it out it was still a touch expensive. So it can be done, it all depends on how much you want to spend and if there is enough buyers to warrant doing it.

I guess I could get some "sticker" paper at the local office supply and just print some myself from the art pages. Would that be ok? Wouldn't be stepping on anyones toes if I did would I?

I release all my stuff under a "Use it and abuse it"-license.
As long as I'm credited as the original creator you can use and abuse remake, publish, make money from or it whatever you want!

Maybe I can organize best quality stickers. A friend of mine works in a factory that produces stickers for cars, illuminated advertising,...
Maybe he can build Linux Mint Stickers for us in his spare time. I'll ask him tomorrow how much it would cost and how many stickers he can make.

Sounds like a good idea. If you need the linux Mint logo in vector format, you can find it on the wiki. just do a search for "logo"

I had boughten the originals spoke about in an earlier post!

If they are the 'rea'l 'legit' ones this time count me in for 2 or 3 of them!

The last ones looked nice but they were cheaply made paper that wore out with minimal contact.

Good news my friends!

I'll get an amount of about 100 to 150 high quality stickers. They are top quality because the materials are for outdoor usage. I don't know how to organize the shipping and the payment.

This stickers will be sponsonsored by the linuxmintusers.de team, but the costs of shipping also must be handled. Atm I have no idea how to organize it but we will find a way.

DO NOT POST THAT YOU WANT STICKERS, THESE REQUEST WON'T BE ANSWERED!!!

I have to cut the stickers because the come on a 0.5 x 1.0 meter pane. The printing and the cutting will take some time...
