local mirror?

Post by i.r.id10t » Mon May 06, 2013 11:43 pm

I currently use apt-mirror and mirror Debian (oldstable, stable, testing) and Ubuntu (last 2 LTS releases and last 2 non-LTS) for my students to use on our local network on a private subnet.

What is the best way for me to add LMDE to my mirror *without* duplicating or purging the files I have for Debian and Ubuntu already?

I'm not stuck on using apt-mirror, if there is a better method that will let me handle all 3 (and maybe centos in the future?) I'd appreciate the input

Given you are mirroring some Debian repos, and some Ubuntu repos, there should be no problem also mirroring some Mint repos. Should be quite complementary to Debian I think.

So, all you need is to pick your repos for mirroring. For an idea, try:
