Clementine downloads in Spanish? Why?
I don't have any language packages installed but English, but if installing Clementine via the Software manager the app is in Spanish... Why? Is the system Locale (Spain) forcing it? I don't want Clementine in Spanish. How can I solve this?

Well, I've changed it in preferences. Language was set to system default, which it seems to refer to system geographic localization, but not the selected default system language... absurd.

Same here (comes up in Japanese)..
You have to maneuver in the options drop down to select the language (on Clementine).

I had this problem (came up only in Japanese) with Mint KDE 15 (but not 14)

- Start clementine in Konsole with the command
It should start in English.
Code: Select all
clementine -g --english
goto Tools >>> Preferences >>> Behavior >>> Language drop-down and pick english (en) ...or whatever.
next you open Clementine, it should open up in your language choice.
