Cinnamon Control Center missing some settings

Post by rpr-nospam »

Hi!

On a Linux Mint Debian Edition 201303 64-bit (clean install) with Cinnamon 1.8.8 there is an issue with Cinnamon Control Center.

The Cinnamon Control Center looks like this.

After opening the Screensaver & Lock Settings you get this. That window does not have all the options shown here.

When the Cinnamon Control Center is started from the command line the following messages are printed, which suggest that the cinnamon-control-center package is missing:

Code: Select all

$ python /usr/lib/cinnamon-settings/cinnamon-settings.py
Could not load screen module; is the cinnamon-control-center package installed?
Could not find network module; is the cinnamon-control-center package installed?

Read Clem's latest blog on the Linux Mint web site. LMDE wont receive Cinnamon 2.0 until after LM 16 is released.
