does that make it ugly The concept was to create a logo from sqares only. Maybe you can tweak it and make it better

I like the blue one.

The standard linu mint logo looks somehow ugly.

I don't like it either but i wouldn't say ugly Do you have any ideas how i can improve the above logo? I think it needs some tweaking

I certainly like the Idea. That said I doubt that they will ever use a simplified logo. The best you can hope for is that some of the user community uses it themselves.

I think your design is fantastic! The only thing to improve here may be is to remove the curve behind the "M".
