Installing Mint Without An Optical Drive
Is it possible to install Mint 4 without an optical drive? my installations keep screwing up almost immediately and I trying to single out things. I already run memtest and that came back clean, I just used Spinrite to test my HDD and that also came back clean. I installed the ISO of mint in a virtual machine and that worked perfectly, so im thinking its most likely the optical drive but i have no way to be sure.

There currently is not a network install, but Ede wrote a tutorial about installing from a USB drive: http://www.linuxmint.com/forum/viewtopi ... =42&t=3250
