Try supplying more detail and info, mint version/desktop/device/devices OS/what you've tried/ - like before - like before what?

You won't get answers without providing detail, well you will, but it'll be from folks guessing, so if you want decent suggestions, provide more detail.

Assuming you're using an Android tablet then try installing MTP in the Repo's as it helps with Linux seeing your tablet, connecting Android tablets to my Linux Mint is very frustrating which is annoying since they both use Linux.
Linux Mint 20.3 (Cinnamon) 64bit.

You need a clairvoyant, not an "expert".

Before what?

I wasn't going to attempt to answer this because I'm neither an expert or a clairvoyant, but when I plug my Samsung phone in the usb port it shows in the file manager.

The location is mtp://[usb:001,004]/. Checking mounts and udisks shows nothing, but there is a udev rule for the vendor:product in /lib/udev/rules.d/69-libmtp.rules which is in the libmtp-common package.

I have no idea so that's the reason I wasn't going to respond :?

Neither do I actually. But I sometimes just have to ask the obvious.

I just find it funny that people expect us to be both.
