Hello from Nebraska
Hello from Nebraska
Hey everybody, I just recently started playing with Linus Mint. I actually started a thread looking for advice and introducing myself in another thread. However I didn't see this one here. What brings me to Linux, another member of another forum recommended it for a low cost solution to my needs. Which for the laptop I will be using, I will mainly be using it for audio play back, and web surfing.
For audio play back, and video watching. I was planning on building a home media server. I just got done looking up Home media server from Linux, which I will have to do some more research. But for now, I will focus on getting my laptop up and running.
Thanks for the wonderful OS to all the people who take part in making it happen.

The idea that Bill Gates has appeared like a knight in shining armour to lead all customers out of a mire of technological chaos neatly ignores the fact that it was he who, by peddling second-rate technology, led them into it in the first place.
