Firestarter not shown in XFCE menu

Post by rfpa »

Hi!

I installed firestarter on the new XFCE and the app isn't shown in the XFCE Menu. I used appfinder and there it was, under the network category. Is this a problem of Menu refreshing? Any solution?

Thanks for the wonderful distro. ;)

Rebooting the system wasn't of much help. It is still hidden somewhere... :P

Where did you get the .deb package?
I just installed with Synaptic and found it in the menu under System.

Thanks, glad you like it.

Try reinstalling it.

Code: Select all

apt remove --purge firestarter

Code: Select all

apt install firestarter
You should then see the launcher in /usr/share/applications
