User Guide: Italian [17.1/Rebecca Cinnamon edition]

Post by Enos D'Andrea »

Dears,

The Official Linux Mint User Guide version 17.1 (Rebecca) Cinnamon edition has been translated into Italian.
Please feel free to redistribute it via linuxmint.com.

The PDF and source documents can be downloaded via the following addresses:
http://www.edlabs.it/it/linux/mint/cinn ... a_17.1.pdf
http://www.edlabs.it/it/linux/mint/cinn ... a_17.1.odt

Credit for the translation goes to Paola D'Andrea.
Many thanks also to http://www.crowdin.com: not only they offered a lovely translation platform free of charge, but they were also very patient and supportive. Crowdin asked me to officially invite Linux Mint to host their User Guide translations there for free. I can only recommend them, because of the fun interface and all the underlying magic that allowed us to easily setup and manage the project, while focusing on the translation itself.

For comments, suggestions or just to say hi you can reach us at mint-ita (at) edlabs.it.

All the best!
Enos and Paola

Thanks for doing the translations! I've forwarded the links to Clem for uploading to the Linux Mint Documentation page.

You're most welcome.

Please give a thought (or two) to Crowdin also. This time they gave me a free account, but as a rule they only give them when the project is officially endorsed by the project lead:

Thanks again! The translations are now available from http://www.linuxmint.com/documentation.php :D

As for Crowdin, you'll have to ask Clem about that. You can contact him at the development team email (http://www.linuxmint.com/contactus.php). May take a while for a reply, especially with LMDE 2 in RC phase right now  Alternative is to join #linuxmint-dev IRC channel on spotchat network and find Clem there.
