Using Linux-Mint 16 and love it.
Although I've set all settings to 'never' and 'don't', I still have a screen that wants to dim while on AC; this is annoying and it shouldn't be. I'm using an HP-2000 notebook and I don't want to dim. How do I kill this behavior while on AC?

Re: No Screen Dimming on AC
The only way I know is to go into preferences/power management and choose 'never' for the tab listed as "On AC Power". This wouldnt be a screensaver issue would it? Does it dim immediately or after a while on AC power?

Re: No Screen Dimming on AC
I have went into power/management and selected NEVER for "ON AC POWER." However, while my laptop is plugged in, it will dim about five minutes without use. This dimming is good if one is using their battery, but while on AC is not necessary. The NEVER, as I have selected it, doesn't seem to work on my HP-2000 laptop.
