Those logos are not bad, but I really prefer the current one, and well.... it doesn't need to change.... but nice concepts anyway!

Actually it' very cool. I actually like very much green Linux Mint logo in last post. Did you propose this logo concept to Clem?

Actually I like this logo. It would look great used in a similar fashion to my work. In fact it might work great in conjunction to my newest wallpaper (ain't releasing it till tomorrow ). conceptually its great. I would suggest a series of "Metro" style wallpapers incorporating the logo.

As to the current logo, well it's ok, but from a design standpoint.... It falls a little flat IMHO. in this one area almost all other Major Distro's and OS's beat us hands down. the current one doesn't scale well to smaller sizes. Also Green tends to overpower the senses a bit much, I understand the theme, but ughhh. of course Ubuntu's fascination with orange is worse.

Actually this was my first work with vector graphics and Inkscape. I was experimenting with Mint logo and came to this one. I thought it's not bad so decided to share it.

Did you propose this logo concept to Clem?

No, I didn't, but maybe I could suggest it to art team.

Also if there is an interest, I'd upload SVGs so anybody can improve it or use it in his own design.

hey brahim Interesting.... looks like spodoba has some interest in his logo. Also maybe the Moderators should make a collaboration's sub-section in the art section. could be interesting to get a few of us together to share ideas and such.

And that's the only Green one I am gonna do for a bit. Its difficult finding just the right shade's of green to work together without there being gradient stripes. I certainly hope you all use it

Maybe thinner outline (as petiole on the "leaf") and little bit of white-grey gradient on it would fit better into design
