deadbeef plugins go where?

i've got linux mint 17.2 cinnamon
i installed deadbeef but i can't find where you put the plugins. i looked a round and the different places it says i don't seen the folder. i tried i/.config/deadbeef but that didn't work. am i missing something?

Plugins go to ~/.local/lib/deadbeef. There are about 50 plugins installed when you install deadbeef. Those are found in /opt/deadbeef/lib/deadbeef/.

ok didn't find either of those but i did find the pre installed ones over at /usr/lib/deadbeef

should i just put the new ones there?

No? Put them in ~/.local/lib/deadbeef. If that path doesn't exist because you didn't create it yet, create it first.

ok that worked. i didn't know you had to make it. heh noob to linux anyway thanks for the help i appreciate it :D
