I need help. I have a Lenovo laptop and I use to run Windows 8 on it. Everything with the Internet worked just fine.
Now I have:
Linux Mint 17.2Cinnamon 64-bit
Cinnamon Version 2.6.13
Linux Kernel 3.16.0-38 generic
Processor is: Intel Core i5-4210U CPU @ 1.70 GHz x 2
Memory 5.7 GiB
Hard Drive 473.8 GB
Graphics Card: Intel Corporation Haswell-ULT Integrated Graphics Controller
and the Internet works for about 30 min. and then it cuts off. I have to restart my computer to get internet access for 30 more minutes, and then it just stops working.
It says I still have Wi-Fi connection, but none of my web pages load (Firefox or Chrome) and also I cannot update anything through the terminal because I “have no Internet connection”
I am brand new to Linux and I have been trying to look up how to fix this problem and all it is very difficult to find.
Please help.

The first thing that comes to mind is power saving for the wifi device (those settings)

- Apart from Bluetooth, I usually find all other devices to be in a random state of yes or no. To enable them, issue the unblock command as shown:
