Mockturl Weather Applet Problem - Update

Post by malligt »

My weather applet has a mind of its own. I've updated it, and when I restart the PC, it does not remember the correct day, nor the correct temperature.
The days are out of sequence. Today is Sunday. My weather app says Tuesday.

But, surprisingly it does remember the correct (city) location.

If I re-start Cinnamon, (Ctrl+Alt+Esc), everything is then correctly displayed.

How do I fix this?

Edit: Applets > Weather > Uninstall (and then re-install) --- does not fix this

Mint 17.2 64 bit.

Edited for spelling.

Edit: A Bug was reported here:

I am having the same issue with this weather app; for the time being I removed it from the panel until I find something else to use.
I am also running Mint 17.2 cinnamon 64 bit.

Not an applet, but is low-overhead and few dependencies:

Code: Select all

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:noobslab/apps
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install gis-weather
