I have two question regarding Encryption Software. As besides Mint I am frequently using Windows, I am making use of Bitlocker encryption software. I know that there are some of you would say, better not use this program as it is offered by Microsoft. However, it is working quiet fast and out of the box. I think it is specially handy for on-the-fly encryption for USB sticks.
For now I really cannot find a good alternative for Linux, so my questions:
1- is there an encryption program for Linux similar working like Bitlocker (or Filevault from Apple)?
2- is there a Linux program which can read files encrypted by Bitlocker?
I really would be glad for any comment or help!
Thanks !!!
