Fans in Gigabyte B150M-D3H

Post by metrolan » Sat Oct 22, 2016 8:02 am

Hi all.

I'm trying to found the working speed of the fans in my system, and sensors-detct can't find them.
Also I was looking in /sys and so, but there is no "*fan*" file. Only temperature monitor hardware is detected.

My MB is a Gigabyte B150M-D3H, and I'm using Mint updated, Cinnamon version, 64 bits.

Can you help me?.

you may need to run

sudo sensors-detect

this will locate the I/O chip on your mobo and run the appropriate driver for reading temps, voltages and fan speeds.
Mint 17.3 MATE, kernel 4.11.12
