Files comparison with xed?

Post by arvY99 » Wed Jul 05, 2017 12:58 am

Hi,
According to its description, xed is capable of doing 'files comparison' through a plugin https://community.linuxmint.com/software/view/xed.
Within xed itself or the plugins page on github I could not find how to enable this feature https://github.com/linuxmint/xed/tree/master/plugins.

Where can I find the good plugin? Or how to compare files with the native xed coming with Mint 18.2?

Thanks.

I don't see any plugin in the repositories, which would allow file comparing.

I recommend meld or diffuse for file and folder comparison.
