cinnamon desktop crashing

i was wondering is anyone else having problems with cinnamon desktop 18.2 crashing often ?
i am having this problem quite often.
sometimes the computer is just sitting there idle.
today it crashed while i was listening to the radio on the web.
i am not sure why this is happening, any ideas from anyone would be greatly appreciated, thank-you in advance

Yes my Panel does not work anymore. I do think they sent down an update that on some systems tended to screw things up.
