Best way to deal with " Power-on or device reset occurred" when Android device plugged in?

Post by DaveJones » Fri May 18, 2018 8:06 pm

Hi all,
When I plug in my Kobo ereader, quite often it fails to mount. Only when I disconnect it and reconnect it again does it actually mount.

dmesg reports this:

I'm running the latest LM 18 and everything is updated. And autosuspend is set to 2:

Code: Select all

$ cat /sys/module/usbcore/parameters/autosuspend
2

Any ideas what's the best way to deal with this? Thanks!

I'd try a different cable and different USB ports on the computer.

I'd check the Kobi's USB connection settings.
