[SOLVED] Linux Mint 19 Default Fonts [SOLVED]

Came across this post.

was lookign for exactly this issue, thoguh in Linux Mint 19 Cinnamon
Marked salvoed but the only reply mentions clickign on a picture, however there is no picture to click

I jsut need to know what defaults fonts were so i can set them back, because like an idiot i didn't write it down

look in /usr/share/fonts/truetype
IF your problem has been solved, please edit your original post and add [SOLVED] to the beginning of the Subject Line. It helps other members

This seems to be where fonts are installed, but that doesn't tell me what the default settings were.

assuming you mean for cinnamon like the other post ?
Here's a screenshot of cinnamon 19.1 default "font selection"

The default in Libre Office is Liberation Serif 12,
The default font in terminal is Monospace Regular 12

In Cinnamon you can run these command individually in the terminal to set system fonts back to defaults

gsettings reset org.cinnamon.desktop.interface font-name

gsettings reset org.nemo.desktop font

gsettings reset org.gnome.desktop.interface document-font-name

gsettings reset org.gnome.desktop.interface monospace-font-name

gsettings reset org.cinnamon.desktop.wm.preferences titlebar-font
