Removing old Nvidia drivers

Post by MrT » Sat May 18, 2019 1:29 am

Over a period of time I have accumulated a series of Nvidia drivers. I am using the latest and I would like to delete the old ones that I have not used .. forever. Is there an easy way to do it? I do not see how to do it from the Driver Manager. I suppose purge something could work, but I am afraid to purge the current driver as well. Any suggestion would be appreciated. I have accumulated 10 drivers... that is no "foss".

Thank you
Maurice

sudo apt autoremove in a terminal will do it.

@catwezel
Thank you... The autoremove command works, but I wonder why when I open the Driver Manager I see so many entries like here. I would like to eliminate the old entries which I have not used in quite some time.
