[SOLVED] Panel icons not visible

Post by hnoon » Sun Jun 09, 2019 2:41 am

The application shortcuts and icons on the panels were there a few minutes ago. Now they are not for this primary user but are there for a secondary login. I can alt-tab through the open applications but I don't see a place I can go to them on the panel. The menu key and applets are very much there. In between there is just a whole lot of blank grey space. How can I get my icons back? My instinct is to create a new user to resolve this but that doesn't solve this issue or prevent this issue to eventually reoccur.

I sometimes have one icon disappear randomly. I just open Panel Settings, change one of the settings and change it back and the icon appears. You could try deleting the Panel and creating a new one.

Under trouble shoot the option of "restore all settings to default" seemed to work
