Need help with running old games

Post by Mantas » Tue Jul 16, 2019 6:03 am

Hello,

For now, I'm interested in running Final Doom, Doom II and first two Elder Scrolls games. I can't get PlayOnLinux to work, it just keeps crashing no matter what. DOSBox doesn't want to listen either, despite following a tutorial to a T, it keeps giving me either the command is "illegal" or I gotta run the .exe on Win32.

Games come from GOG, the separate .exe installers.

I've never been able to run games from Gog on Linux, gave up and run them under Windows, less stress !

Maybe someone else has an answer.
