GIMP -> Picture -> Scale picture -> export as .jpg so you get it under 100 kb

If I made a 3840x1080 down to 100kb, you wouldn't be able to make anything out.

nice side-conky i do must say. i started mine in pclinuxos and transferred it into many other distros. the transfers were mostly easy enough, but now i'm just too tired of redesigning another one for my current hardware. and i do notice that if you scale display every line with fonts in it needs new configs.
