Hello,
After using Thunderbird for years Mail from one of my family is going directly to "Bulk Mail" instead of the "Inbox".
I now have to open the Bulk mail box often to see if I have missed anything.
All my other incoming mail is going to the correct boxes, its just from this one family address, any suggestions please?
Thank you

Re: Thunderbird Mail going to Bulk
Is the mail from the "family address" delivered to a "special email account"? If so this account may have been set up to store mail in Bulk unlike the others which are stored separately in their own folders.

Re: Thunderbird Mail going to Bulk
Hello Terryphi, no, just the bog standard "Inbox" of my email address, things have been fine for many years then the change.
I thought it strange that I had not had a reply to a question to the family member, when for some reason I looked in the Bulk Mail box and there it was, amongst the spam etc. this is happening all the time with this one member.

Check the message filters.

Re: Thunderbird Mail going to Bulk
Have you done any updates or changed any settings recently?
Do you use Timeshift snapshots? If so, could you restore the snapshot to just before it started happening?
When did it start happening?

That particular message may have been identified as junk by the adaptive junk filters. If so, mark the message as "not junk" and that should solve the problem in the future.

Re: Thunderbird Mail going to Bulk
kukamuumuka, I'm not sure how to that works yet?
gittiest personlTW My Thunderbird is up to date, I do use Timeshift snapshots but only keep five days, the problem has existed longer than that, probably a couple of months, we don't communicate regularly.
cliffcoggin, I have tried "not junk" with no success.
Thanks all.
