Greetings!
I previously had issues with getting wifi to work on a Lenovo Ideapad 330, and was helped with the info in this thread:
viewtopic.php?t=276656
This worked, and every so often a kernel update would break the wifi, at which point I would reinstall the driver like so:
make
sudo make install
sudo modprobe 8821ce
However, after the kernel update following 4.15.0-62, this work-around no longer works. Since then I've been booting into the old kernel (4.15.0-62), which is the most recent version in which the wifi does still work. I'd like to get this fixed, however, and was wondering if anyone could advise?
My system stats are as follows:

There's a DKMS package in the repo's now, so try this:

(item 10)
Afterwards, reboot with the latest kernel of the 4.15 series.

[edited] OK, its working now! That worked perfectly, thank you so much!
(there was another, totally unrelated issue with the router settings being toggled from 2.4ghz to 5ghz that made the difference, but I can now boot into the more recent kernel and the wifi works - sweet.)
