Blender and other software dont recognize GPU (solved)

Post by Mpc46 »

I have an HP Pavillion laptop with: AMD Ryzen 5 3500U with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx 8

I have installed mesa and opencl, but blender, maya and other softwares doesn't appear to recognize my GPU but they do when I log into windows.

This is my system info:

Edit: solved, after trying a lot of amdgpu drivers the 20.10 version did the trick XD

You may need an AMD-Pro driver, see here https://blender.stackexchange.com/quest ... s-on-linux

Make a copy of the system first if something goes wrong
