Some unicode symbols missing

Post by iain_33 »

Since I've installed Mint 19.3 Cinnamon I've noticed that a few unicode symbols aren't displaying in Firefox, I'm getting a box with the hex code inside, whereas they used to display fine in Mate. At first I only noticed it on my localhost app, so thought I hadn't configured apache or PHP correctly, but I'm getting the same on w3school's symbols page:

Thinking maybe it's a problem in Firefox, I opened the Character Map and I'm getting the same:

Am I missing a package? Language pack, font or something?

You need to install at least one font with these symbols.
