Is there a program, somewhere in cyberspace,
that allows me to view images (JPEG, etc)
without any kind of border?
No taskbar, no title bar, nothing. Only with a "touch" of mousepointer on the
surface a menu pops up .
It would simply be a cool to get multiple pictures on the screen
at the same time and be able to resize them and so on.

Re: Borderless viewer ?
apt install nomacs... press F10, press H ... et voilà.
apt install feh... feh -x /path/to/images/ ... et voilà.
'No taskbar, no title bar, nothing.'
Fairly confident there are countless others out there that can do that...

Re: Borderless viewer ?
Select an image in file manager, click to open, then F11 for full screen.
To view multiple images with the maximum screen space, you can open applications like Pix then customise the display to switch off the elements you do not need. You can also open images in a slideshow to see each one full screen. Pix has advantages when you are selecting images from a very large collection.

Re: Borderless viewer ?
I was probably unclear when describing my wishes:
I am NOT interested in seeing ONE image in the entire screen without
I want to be able to see several pictures at the same time WITHOUT borders.
For example, I want to be able to produce 3-4 images that are displayed side by side without ugly and disturbing things like borders menubars and other things that reduce the area of the displayed image and as I said: are disturbing.
In addition, it would hardly be a problem for a skilled programmer to provide the program with the property that if you put the mouse pointer on the image and press the right mouse button then
a MENU comes up where you can select everything that needs to be selected. I have seen this type of MENU access in many programs!

Re: Borderless viewer ?
As has already been suggested both feh and nomacs meet all of your requests.
The former is command line only, the latter is GUI. However the former is better for tiling borderless images on the display.
